With only three more weeks left in school, we (most of us) the Class of 2017 brush up this school year to prepare for our senior year of Okemos HIgh School.
I definitely had ups and downs this year. Some things really went well and some did not. However, one thing for sure came out from this year especially from American Literature class. Things I learned from this class helped me to realize my goals for the future. Although it may sound funny, it really did help me. The books and literature works that we studied in this class helped me to realize which career I want to have.
Now that I HAVE to talk about my experiences writing blogs this year, let's get into it.
I personally really like writing blogs. Yes, they are a lot of work and yes it is burdensome to turn it in before the due time, but it was fun writing them since Ms. Dockus gave us no specific "guidelines" for the content, I could just write about anything that i wished to. This also allowed me to express my thoughts and feeling freely. However, as the year went on, I kinda ran out of ideas to talk about on my blog. That's the only "con" about this assignment.
Writing comments on classmates' blogs were a fun experience as well. Reading their posts allowed me to learn about their interests and passion. I feel like this assignment has brought students closer.
Out of all the assignments Ms. Dockus assigned us, blogging was possibly one of my favorite. My second favorite is the CD project though. I wish my future literature classes would have similar assignments because they are just so enjoyable to do
Thank you for a great experience Ms. Dockus.
