If you are currently taking APUSH (AP U.S. History) then you know exactly what I am going to say. Thankfully, unlike other AP classes, APUSH doesn't require much thinking to get the right answer. Instead, you need facts to get the right answer. That's what I really like about history, all I have to do is memorize the entire chapter. However for classes like math and science, you need critical thinking to get the answer right.
APUSH is unlike any other AP class. Each chapter is about 30 to 40 pages and it is extremely to difficult to not only to memorize the whole thing but also understand it all. It's becuase the chapter goes in depth unlike normal history classes who only cover the essentials.
Also, having a test once a week really pushes the students into working diligently. Hopefully, my experience from this class will later help me succeed in life.
To people who are taking APUSH right now, good luck on your AP exam!!
